El-Rey Inn
The Garbutts started El-Rey Inn in 1990 with just five rooms and have since expanded it to 12 rooms. The name was a change in words derived from “Elroy” Garbutt, the owner to El Rey. Rey in English means “king”.
Location & Directions
#23 Moho Street, Belmopan City
El – Rey Inn is located in a quiet neighborhood off the Ring Road within walking distance from restaurants, stores, churches, football field, & tennis courts. From the bus terminal, follow the Ring Road to the right (towards the hospital). At the intersection by the hospital, continue on the main paved road to the right. Travel about 1/3 mile or less until you see a basketball court on the right and a park on the left. Turn left by the park onto Rio Hondo Street. Go down two blocks and turn right at Moho Street. The Inn is the second lot on the right. |
